Each candidate is required to complete an ActionMed application, including the attachment of a personal resume that focuses on his or her relevant work experience. ActionMed will save you time by personally verifying each and every clinical/technical experience/reference.
Each candidate will complete the following:
- Successfully pass a Drug Screen
- Successfully pass a Criminal Background Verification
- Education Verification
- I-9 with supporting documents
- Health Examination within the past year
- Possess current American Heart Association BCLS/ACLS (may require other certifications based on specialized areas)
- Provide verifiable clinical work references for the past three years
ActionMed will test each candidate by putting them through a skill-based examination as well as a self-based skill-assessment, both in accordance with all Joint Commission standards. A passing score of 84% is required for all candidates. As a condition of employment, all candidates must complete an annual in-service for Joint Commission/OSHA by the anniversary date of hire. ActionMed also provides facility-specific orientation based on your facility's policies.
At ActionMed, we have developed the Credential ME Program, one of the most valuable tools for our client facilities and healthcare professionals. The program employs staffing software that aids in the review and update of all employee credentials on a 30, 60, and 90 day basis. Thus, ActionMed can monitor all credentials nearing expiration dates to ensure candidates time to comply 100% with all credential policies.
ActionMed will plan all traveling/lodging arrangements for locum tenens physicians and CRNA's to minimize your paperwork.
